To share the love of Jesus Christ and the message of salvation through faith in him to orphans and vulnerable children and women in the Rakai district of the Republic of Uganda by first meeting their physical and educational needs.
About Us
Children and Women Support Initiative Uganda is a 501(c)3 created to be the United States affiliate of Children and Women Support Initiative which is an active and registered community based organization in the Rakai District of the Republic of Uganda. CAWSI was started by our executive director and other Ugandan’s from the area who answered God’s call on their lives to shine the light of Christ in Mpuunge village. And to break the cycle of food shortage and no educational resources in Mpuunge village and the Rakai District. Our goal is to show the love of Jesus Christ and share his message of salvation by helping to provide much needed food, water, clothing, education, and other daily needs to orphans and vulnerable children and women in the Mpuunge village and the surrounding areas in the Rakai district.
